Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns Trade Boosts NBA Finals Odds
Karl-Anthony Towns has been traded to the Knicks, and sportsbooks are slightly more optimistic about the team’s future.
The Knicks’ odds for winning the NBA Finals have improved, now sitting at +500 on BetRivers Sportsbook, second only to the Boston Celtics at +300.
According to ESPN BET, the Knicks are now a top contender for one of the leading seeds in the NBA. “We’ve seen shifts in championship, conference, and win total markets following the Towns trade,” an ESPN BET sportsbook trader told The Post. “Towns' scoring and versatility as a big man add depth to an already strong Knicks offense. If he can maintain his playoff form, the Knicks will be a tough competitor in any playoff series.”
Additionally, ESPN BET has adjusted the Knicks' projected win total, moving it from 53.5 to 54.5, with significant -130 odds on the over.
