Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, actress and former wife of David Hasselhoff, has tragically passed away by suicide, TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources, family members grew concerned after not hearing from her and decided to check on her. Upon arriving at her home—where the doors were locked—they discovered her unresponsive. Paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 10 PM on Wednesday, responding to a report of an unconscious female. Pamela was pronounced dead at the scene due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. No note was found, sources say.

LAPD officers arrived soon after.

David Hasselhoff shared a statement with TMZ, saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

David and Pamela were married from 1989 until their contentious divorce in 2006, which led to prolonged disputes over spousal support that extended into 2017.

Pamela first made her big-screen debut in Francis Ford Coppola’s Rumble Fish (1983), alongside Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke, and Diane Lane. She later transitioned to television, landing a role in Baywatch (1989) as café owner Kaye Morgan—a character she played for a decade. Her TV career also included appearances in Sirens, The Young and the Restless, The Fall Guy, T.J. Hooker, and Knight Rider, where she first met David.

Pamela’s longtime representative, Sharon Kelly, expressed her grief in a statement to TMZ: "I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a 'force of nature'… she will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters, and granddaughter, whom Pamela constantly gushed about and loved so dearly. She often spoke about how proud she was of her daughters and the women they had become. She was a ‘Proud Mama’!"

Pamela is survived by her two daughters with David, as well as a granddaughter.

She was 62.
