Long before Lana Del Rey reportedly married alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene in September 2024, she was open about her romantic history.
“It’s been beautiful, but it’s been confusing because when ... things don’t end in a traditional way,” Del Rey shared with Rolling Stone in July 2014. “You don’t have that conventional relationship where you go out with couples at night or engage in normal activities. It’s more of an extension of the creative process. There are high-impact events, big adventures, or dramatic fallouts. It’s inspiring but not grounding, yet it’s what I need to keep going.”
During that interview, the “Video Games” singer expressed that she wasn’t opposed to age-gap relationships, provided her partner was “an equal.” She noted, “I have a preference for really strong, self-assured individuals. I haven’t met many of those in their 20s. I don’t necessarily have much in common with someone that age—at least not yet.”
Fast forward a decade, and Us Weekly confirmed that Del Rey and Dufrene obtained a marriage license in Louisiana, reportedly tying the knot within a week of filing the application.

Rumors of a romance between Del Rey and photographer Francesco Carrozzini surfaced in July 2014 when they were seen sharing affectionate moments in Italy after he filmed her “Ultraviolence” music video. G-Eazy
Del Rey was first seen getting cozy with rapper G-Eazy at Coachella in 2017. While they never publicly discussed their relationship, fans speculated that his 2020 song “Moana” was inspired by her.
