The Powerball jackpot has surged to $503 million for the next drawing on Monday, Aug. 11, after no ticket matched all six numbers in the Saturday, Aug. 9 drawing.

If someone wins the upcoming jackpot, they can opt for a lump-sum cash payout of $230.3 million before taxes.
